Starting May 27, Josh & John’s Naturally Homemade Ice Cream will expand operations with a mobile unit that will set up shop at Cottonwood Creek Park (1401 Recreation Way) offering nine flavors — in cup, cone or their scratch-made waffle cones — as well as milkshakes, floats and sundaes. Find it there from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.

Scoop Bus, Colorado Springs, food news, Rocky Mountain Food ReportThe Scoop Bus will keep regular hours at the park, and then hit different city parks each Saturday as well as various local breweries every Sunday. Find a calendar of the bus schedule here.

It’s already made a few appearances Downtown, and you can keep track of it through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Flavors include several gluten-free options and “fares” start at just $3 for a single scoop. Pints will be available for purchase as well, for just $6.
