Every Thursday evening, January 4 through March 29, the Penrose Room at The Broadmoor presents live music and a three-course dinner with wine pairings for $100.00 per person. Colorado’s only Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond restaurant introduces recent Napa, California, transplants, Gareth Tootell, who serves as general manager, and Max Robbins, who takes on the role of chef de cuisine.
Krista Heinicke, food and beverage office and public relations manager, fondly refers to the new hires as “a bit of The French Laundry nestled in Cheyenne Mountain.”
Suggested attire is resort casual: dressy denim is allowed and jackets are required.
