About the Report

The Rocky Mountain Food Report, founded in 2015, focuses on the burgeoning craft food and beverage scene across Colorado. We strive to highlight local businesses, products, culinary talent and events that adds to the growing gastro-culture in the region. That means you’ll find breaking news, restaurant previews and reviews, updates on longtime favorites, event recaps, editorials and stories that encompass all things Colorado.

Dionne Roberts is the editor of RMFR, a Colorado Springs resident published in Colorado Collective, Springs Magazine, The Gazette, Colorado Fun, and a cannabis writer for The Independent. Roberts has also served as a contributor and food expert for USA Today and FOX News. A former military spouse, Roberts has had the opportunity to travel extensively both domestic and abroad. She was a communications intern for E! Entertainment in London, and went forward to write independent film reviews in New York. While living in Northern California she chose to further her food and beverage knowledge working for Del Dotto Vineyards in Napa and St. Helena, CA. After moving to Colorado Springs, Roberts fully embraced the craft beer industry, working and managing in local breweries before transitioning back to her journalism roots.

RMFR strives to bring our readership the most up to date and thorough information that can advance the craft movement and bring Coloradans together to eat and drink the very best.

“I love watching this area come into its own,” says Roberts. “It’s exciting to experience the creativity and synergy in food, beer, wine and mixology here. Colorado’s gastro culture is catching up with the beautiful, adventurous lifestyle that brings so many of us to call this home.”
