The Rocky Mountain Food Report was founded in August 2015, to cover the hell out of the Pikes Peak region’s food scene. Now we are pushing the focus up and down the front range to encompass all things Colorado. That means you’ll find breaking news, previews of upcoming restaurants, updates on longtime favorites, pairing dinners, pop-ups, stories and festivals from all across the state, and anything else we think is flat-out rad.
Dionne Roberts is the editor of RMFR, a Colorado Springs resident published in Springs Magazine, The Gazette, Colorado Fun, and a cannabis writer for The Independent. Roberts has also served as a contributor and food expert for USA Today. A former military spouse, Roberts has had the opportunity to travel extensively both domestic and abroad. She was a communications intern for E! Entertainment in London, UK, and went forward to write independent film reviews in New York, NY. While living in Northern California she chose to further her food and beverage knowledge working for Del Dotto Vineyards in Napa and St. Helena, CA. Moving to Colorado Springs, Roberts fully embraced the craft beer industry, working and managing in local breweries. Now Roberts serves the greater Pike’s Peak region as a conduit to the burgeoning culinary scene. “I love watching this area come into its own,” says Roberts. “It’s exciting to experience the creativity and synergy in food, beer, wine and mixology here. Colorado’s gastro culture is catching up with the beautiful, adventurous lifestyle that brings so many of us to call this home.”
