Sunday brought one of the better food events in the area, the Taste of Old Colorado City. Naturally, the weather decided to act up so patrons were forced inside the nearby Junior Achievement building, which made for an interesting time. The event, which features food and art vendors from the west side, ended up stretched between three medium-sized rooms and filled to the brim with people.
This made for an interesting time for anybody trying to eat, drink and breathe, with Audrey Hatfield writing on the event page, “In my opinion, you should change this event back to sometime in September. The waiting line was rediculous and it was difficult to move around in the JA building. Other than that, the offerings were excellent!”
The food was indeed a blast, rocking live music and turnout was killer, so take a look (and let’s hope for a sunny day next year).
