Denver resident, Erin Willis, was the recipient of an honorable mention for her recipe that was selected out of hundreds of applications in the 2017 Create Cooking Challenge. Create TV is a channel on public broadcasting carried by 235 channels nationwide with a focus on how-to programming and lifestyle content. Willis submitted her original approach to a Colorado inspired sauce, “Erin’s Elk Bolognese”
Willis has worked in restaurants and wine shops around New York City and in Boston, as a server, bartender and junior sommelier. She continues to work in the food industry as a freelance pastry chef.

Steven Raichlen, author of the best-selling Barbecue Bible, host of Project Smoke and winner of five James Beard Awards.
Kevin Belton, legacy teacher at the New Orleans School of Cooking.
