The Burrowing Owl reached out to the Report with news about their new menu. Along with some new drinks, the Owl now offers vegan desserts, such as chocolate-covered salty caramel ice cream bars, a weekly cobbler and a special coconut frozen yogurt from Lulu’s Frozen Yogurt.
Co-owner Cody Rilo says they’ve also added jackfruit to the menu for a soy-free main protein. Blackened, it can be added to salads or wraps. Along with daily soups and a bar menu that now includes a cantaloupe cocktail, Rilo says, “We’ve put most of the Secret Menu items on this menu.”
