Randy and Liz Price, founders of Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group (a family-run company that encompasses Salsa Brava, Sonterra Grill, Over Easy and Urban Egg a daytime eatery) officially renames their three Over Easy brunch spots in Colorado Springs, on Monday, November 12, to Urban Egg to match their Denver locations. Mr. Price cites that when RMRG opened their first Over Easy the name was registered in-state, yet since then they’re finding numerous independently owned establishments operating under the same title and prior to expanding into the Fort Collins and Denver markets, RMRG acquires the rights to the new moniker, Urban Egg.

“It makes sense from a branding standpoint to operate under one name that we own,” says Mr. Price. “We will no longer require two websites, two Instagram accounts and multiple Facebook accounts. Our advertising will be more effective, and it will be more efficient for our marketing team to manage one brand.”

Brunch hard, every damn day.

Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group maintains that the transition is seamless and plans to offer the same well-received menu with some new additions that still reflects their commitment to fresh, Colorado-focused ingredients. Mr. and Mrs. Price currently own six (soon to be seven) Urban Egg restaurants in Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado.

“I want all of our loyal customers to understand that the only thing changing is the name,” confirms Mr. Price. “We will continue to offer the same great menu at all breakfast restaurants, have the same great staffs at all locations and will continue to be a leader in the breakfast restaurant category through innovative, locally sourced delicious menu items.”

Beautiful Benedicts.
