Luke’s is taking over Urban Steam!: Free cups of coffee, because Gilmore Girls and Netflix … or as Urban Steam so helpfully answered one confused commenter: “As part of the Gilmore Girls re-release and new seasons, Netflix is sponsoring a Luke’s coffee day at 250 shops around the nation, we are one of them, where we provide free coffee in support of the release of the new Gilmore girls. We are putting on the air of Luke’s diner and giving free coffee to the first 250 people who come in on Wednesday.” Right on. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 7 a.m. to noon. 2016 Great Pumpkin Run: A fundraiser for Venetucci Farm with 5- and 10K options, as well as a kid’s run. Catch family activities like square dancing, a sheep dog demo, wagon rides, live music and food from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Register online. $35 through Oct. 6; $40 through Oct. 7 and 8; $5 for kids 10 and under. Colorado Common Hard Cider 1 Year Anniversary: Food, music and limited release goodies. Saturday, Oct. 8, 5-8 p.m. Colorado Common Cider House, 4655 Town Center Drive.

Fifth Annual Reynolds Ranch Harvest Festival: Family fun with hay rides, face painting, games, ghost stories, and a pumpkin patch, along with a farmers market and museum activities. $5. Oct. 8-9, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Western Museum of Mining & Industry, 225 North Gate Blvd.

Third Annual Run with the Burros: A fun celebration of Manitou Brewing’s home in a former burro barn. Come for a free 5K walk/jog around Manitou Springs, meet the burros, then head back to the brewery, which will be pouring $1-off pints. Saturday, Oct. 15, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Manitou Brewing Company, 725 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs.

Triple S Brewing First Anniversary Party: More info to come, but expect giveaways, live music and “beer releases (did someone say Bourbon Barrel?).” Saturday, Oct. 15, noon to 3 p.m. Triple S Brewing Company, 318 E. Colorado Ave.

Giant Spirit Local Craft Beer & Wine Walking Tour: As part of Old Colorado City’s Giant Pumpkin Festival, a sampling of nine OCC establishments’ finest, including Bristol Craft Firkin Cask Ale at Enoteca Rustica and Eddyline Brewing Pumpkin Patch Ale at Mother Muff’s. Proceeds benefit the Giant Commonwealth Pumpkin Grower’s Contest. $20. Saturday, Oct. 22, 1-5 p.m.
