It’s a good month for fans of Jim Henson.

First comes the Lifetime debut of Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow, a two-hour movie first conceived 47 years ago that was shelved as the puppeteer grew busy with Sesame Street.

The New York Times reports the film stars “Mary Steenburgen, with on-screen narration by the rapper and actor Chris Bridges (better known as Ludacris), [and] will appear on Lifetime on Nov. 21. … The real stars of the special are a quartet of new woodland monster puppets, each with a name more nonsensical than the last: Burble, Squonk, Thrinng and Zorp.”

A week before that, fans can hit a Jim Henson-themed pop-up dinner from Brother Luck Street Eats on November 15 at 6 p.m. Held in the Alibi Room at 103 S. Wahsatch Ave., the dinner features food like a Smoked Dinosaur Egg (alligator rillette deviled egg), Elmo Tuna Tartare (ginger-marinated tuna with wasabi and carrots) and Labyrinth (powdered oilive oil, tomato and Kalamata olives with mozzarella and balsamic).
