The Passport Program, founded in 2013, encourages locals and visitors alike to experience the food and beverage cultures in participating cities by “sharing a hell of a good reason to go out, explore, and have a drink.” The adorable, little, navy book recently releases a winter edition that ensures we have plentiful options to stay warm this season via dozens of BOGO discounts on libations, and even more so with the addition of craft coffee.
“The coffee scene in each of the Passport cities is rich and brimming with world class bean-based beverages,” says Justin Schaffer, city program manager of The Passport Program. “Nights and weekends of craft beverage exploration require fuel, so we decided showcasing a few top local coffee spots too made perfect sense.”
This travel companion contains specials at some of our favorite bars, restaurants, breweries, distilleries and coffee shops in the mountains, Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado, and encourages the continuation of patronage throughout the holiday season. So get up and get out, even as the temperature drops.
“The Passport Program is a great opportunity for consumers and local businesses alike,” says Schaffer. “With a passport in hand consumers can get off the couch and meet an old pal for a drink, explore a new haunt, or make the trek to a cozy new brewery with a gang of friends. Participating venues see new customers walking through the door during the slower winter months and reap the benefits of these new visitors year round.”
