Chef James Africano of The Warehouse alerted the Report to this fundraiser, happening there Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. that he is hosting with Slow Food Pikes Peak. Proceeds from the event will benefit this education fund, and food community education. Chef describes the event as “a tasting with food from each of the restaurants paired with a local producer. Kind of a very small Fiddles and Vittles event.”
The restaurants he mentioned include: Adam’s Mountain Cafe, AspenPointe Cafe, The Flying Carrot, The Margarita at PineCreek, Pizzeria Rustica, TAPAteria, Sourdough Boulangerie and the Warehouse. Each entity will prepare bites around the centerpiece, an aged Colorado-grown Serrano-style ham. Expect libations from Colorado Cider and the Wine Seller, as well as live music.
Tickets are $40 each, and available here.
