Starting May 27, Josh & John’s Naturally Homemade Ice Cream will expand operations with a mobile unit that will set up shop at Cottonwood Creek Park (1401 Recreation Way) offering nine flavors — in cup, cone or their scratch-made waffle cones — as well as milkshakes, floats and sundaes. Find it there from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
The Scoop Bus will keep regular hours at the park, and then hit different city parks each Saturday as well as various local breweries every Sunday. Find a calendar of the bus schedule here.
It’s already made a few appearances Downtown, and you can keep track of it through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Flavors include several gluten-free options and “fares” start at just $3 for a single scoop. Pints will be available for purchase as well, for just $6.
