Michael Myers and Distillery 291 are always killing it, recently winning Best American Rye Whiskey, No Age Statement at the 2016 World Whiskies, and collaborating with local business like Urban Steam on special bourbons.

Now comes the release of Barrel No. 100, the oldest whiskey produced by 291, made in its original copper still and aged for 16 months in a 15-gallon barrel. Pours in the distillery’s tasting room started yesterday, with tours and bottles available starting on Father’s Day, June 19.

“There is nothing in my life that I am more grateful for than the opportunity I have had to be the father of my two remarkable sons,” says Myers in a press release.  “Now at 18 and 20 years old, I am incredibly proud to say that they have aged well.

“In honor of dads everywhere, I thought, what better way to celebrate Father’s Day than to release our longest aged and most cherished product — Barrel No. 100 of 291 Colorado Whiskey.”
