A recent Broadmoor release highlighted some dope looking eats coming in the next few months.
• The highlight is the hotel’s Fall Harvest Dinners, a series of three events held in Natural Epicurean — “Natural E,” ya’ll — the first coming tomorrow, October 14, at 6 p.m. The full blurb: “The first of the dinner series will naturally be a vegetarian menu with two tasting wine pours! $58 per person, plus applicable taxes and gratuity. • Other cool hotel happenings include an October 30 dinner at Bar del Lago and featuring the much-sought Venetucci Pumpkin Ale. As my wife Edie recently reported, Bristol Brewing Co. is still able to do the ale through a different partnership, needed because of troubles at Venetucci Farm.
The blurb: “Come to Bar del Lago at The Broadmoor on Sunday, October 30th from 5:30 – 7:30PM to enjoy the last allocation of Venetucci Pumpkin Ale from Bristol Brewery. Bring a friend, meet a friend, meet new friends … For $45 (inclusive of service fees and applicable taxes) each guest will receive one 22 oz. bottle of Venetucci Pumpkin Ale and small plates. • The same night, October 30, the Golden Bee will host Distillery 291 and owner Michael Myers for a complimentary whiskey tasting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
