Besides kicking ass as executive chef of Brother Luck Street Eats, chef Mark Henry is known for recently wining the debut episode of Food Network’s new show Cooks vs. Cons. (See our coverage here.)
Now Henry is once again on the competition circuit, but this time he needs your help. The second annual Farm to Table Chefs Taste Challenge is taking place in New Orleans on Aug. 19 and the event has winnowed its competitors down to 16 chefs.
“The semi-finalists were chosen from various geographical regions across the United States through a national search,” the event says in an email. “The number of Facebook ‘Likes’ and ‘Shares’ will be an important factor in naming the final ten chefs who will be invited to compete at the Chefs Taste Challenge. Voting ends Thursday, May 26, at 11:59 p.m. Finalists will be announced June 1st.”
