Everybody knows you hit the Keg Lounge in Manitou Springs for beers and buffalo burgers. But a recently expanded kitchen, construction that was required after a recent fire, means you can now find a little morning sustenance with your weekend constitution.
The brunch started today, and will run only on future Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., says general manager Matt Milar in an interview with the Report.
“Our main item is going to be our steak and eggs, which is $12,” Milar says. “It’s a five-ounce top sirloin from Ranch Foods Direct — we use Ranch Foods for 75 to 90 percent of all our meat that we cook — and then it comes with two eggs, [and an] English muffin. We’re going to try to get different kinds of fresh fruit to put on the side, like today we have cantaloupe and grapes.”
Also find $4 mimosas, $4 Bloody Marys and eats like French toast, a breakfast croissant and more vegetarian options. A new meat-free gravy joins the restaurant’s famous biscuits and sausage gravy, along with a new vegetarian breakfast sandwich.
