On Wednesday, July 15, Visit Colorado Springs releases its 2020 “Crafts & Drafts” Passport, a digital program that supports and highlights the Pike Peak’s region’s diverse craft beverage scene.
Access the Passport’s free web-based app from any mobile device to score a plethora of deals at 20+ locally owned, participating venues. Find discounts on a variety of your favorite libations to include beer, wine, coffee, moonshine, whiskey and cocktails.
As COVID continues to deeply affect the F&B industries, it is absolutely necessary, now more than ever, to continue to support small businesses. By participating in the passport program, patrons have the opportunity to place a positive footprint on our cultural landscape and impact our local economy, for the better.
“We’re your neighbors,” says Amanda Bristol, co-owner of Bristol Brewing Company, in a press release. “We’re who you see at the grocery store. Our kids go to the same schools. This place is rooted in the local culture and community, it’s the fabric of our city – when you visit and support these local businesses, not only do you support your neighbors, but somehow you feel more at home.”
Due to mandated closures and new social distancing guidelines, some breweries and distilleries are not practicing their usual in-person operations but, passport holders are still able to enjoy the option for “to-go” drink deals from some of your favorite establishments.
To learn more about the free passport, get updates and download yours, visit “Crafts & Drafts” Passport and “start sippin’!”
The passport program runs through December 31, 2020.
